After 14 years of not accepting outside material, for a limited time, Listen Again Music (BMI), based in the Nashville Tennessee area, is in a catalog building phase and is accepting unpublished song submissions from songwriters for possible placement on major label and independent recording projects as well as for use in film and television shows.

Extra consideration will be given to songwriters who have master recordings of their songs (available for download and/or CD sales) and/or regularly perform their original songs  in small bars, clubs and concert settings) in need of a publishing in order to collect live performance royalties and obtain ongoing promotion.

You may be offered publishing contract(s) on one song or all original unpublished songs in your catalog.

Scanned set list(s) with the performance date, venue and original songs performed circled as well as any supporting documentation of an ongoing performance schedule (website with show dates, YouTube videos or similar ) will be helpful in making a decision.

  • Songwriters seeking possible single song publishing contracts to obtain ongoing promotion, please submit only professionally produced demos or master quality work. All songs submitted for possible single song contracts or blanket publishing deals must be unpublished. Songwriters (and/or collaborators) must control copyright 100%.

“Miles And Miles” video released. Your song, our production= You Tube success!

Dan Thompson’s just-released video of the song he wrote for his long haul trucker son who tragically died when he fell asleep and crashed his rig about two months after Dan wrote it. Dan and his band are “lip syncing” and “air guitaring” to the track the Nashville Trax A team played on.

This video was made after Dan’s first trip here to record his vocals on three Dan Thompson penned tunes that producer, Bill Watson, arranged and produced prior.

A simple-to-shoot-and-edit video like this can be posted on You Tube as Dan has done. It’s extremely useful for promotion of your live shows and adding fans to your database, or if you don’t perform, you can monetize the video itself and get paid for the short ads that run each time someone clicks on it. One of our clients has made several of these videos, hiring actors to perform in fairly elaborate videos to the tracks we produce of songs he writes. He has hundreds of thousands of You Tube clicks on several of them and has quite a successful business going.
